Catherine is an inspiring and dedicated business woman and mother.
In 1994 Catherine was pregnant and began her business ‘Aromababy’ which has now succeeded into an international business. ‘Aromababy’ is a brand of gentle natural, organic and Aroma-Free skin care for mother and child, the first of its kind in the world to combine neonatal research with the use of natural and organic ingredients; whilst others brands attempted to follow her lead, not having the same innovation, passion and drive could be reasons why her multi-million dollar achievement could not be matched .
Catherine has learned to balance her parenting of two sons and business for close to 18 years now, more recently re-badged her company to better reflect the product development direction of her work. Aluxe Pty Ltd is responsible for the Aromababy, Luxe and Pure Spa brands as well as Catherine’s consulting, presenting, education and writing (on natural skincare, lifestyle and wellness). As not only a mother but a qualified aroma-therapist and infant massage instructor who has been working in the skincare industry for a twenty years now, Catherine is personally responsible for the product development of the formulations used in her products which has seen remarkable results with babies and adults suffering from eczema, dermatitis and other sensitive skin complains.
Of Catherine’s brands, ‘Aromababy’ in particular, has developed somewhat of a ‘cult-like’ following amongst celebrity parents in addition to being found in maternity hospitals, resorts, pharmacies and high-end baby boutiques across the world including in South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore where this unique, premium brand is in high demand. Rebecca Derrington
Rebecca is an experienced public relations and marketing strategist, as well as a qualified drama coach and workplace trainer. These skills have helped her get results for clients for more than 13 years.
Before pursuing a career in public relations and marketing, Rebecca practised as a lawyer (for about three minutes), but quickly realised she was more passionate about public relations and marketing. So, she started over – completing a business degree and working up to executive and senior management marketing, public relations and corporate communication roles in the services sector. And she never looked back.
After the birth of her first child, Rebecca started her own public relations firm, Wagging Tongues. It was then that she recognised a need for a service that gave journalists and bloggers an opportunity to ‘call out’ for sources. She knew PR professionals and businesses would also benefit, since both could feel more confident their ‘pitches’ would bring about the desired outcome: highly coveted publicity and media attention.
Just over two years ago, Rebecca decided to create this service and deliver it to everyone for free.

Peace Mitchell
Peace is the co-owner of connect2mums and co-author of ‘The 7 secrets to Standing Out’. Peace is passionate about supporting mums and has also been responsible for co-founding non-profit organisation Mothers Helping Others, and co-authoring the book, “What I wish I knew before I became a mother’. Peace was awarded the Johnstone Shire Australia Day Citizen of the Year award in 2008 for her work with ‘Mothers Helping Others’ and was a Board Member of the Playgroup Queensland Board of Management from 2008 – 2010. Peace is a qualified teacher and has also worked in publishing and enjoys the opportunity Connect2mums provides for utilising the skills learnt in each of these trades. Peace is mum to three boys and uses her experience as a mother to mentor and support mums.

Nick Bowditch is a Social Futurist. He is also one of Australia’s online success stories.
Basically broke and with his young family expanding quickly, Nick took one of the bravest – and best – decisions of his life and chucked in
