“Tons of effort, not much profit. It’s the story of many small and medium sized businesses, and the reason I founded The Business Bakery – to help women design their businesses to be profitable. I’m also the author of ‘How to Bake a Business” (lots of recipes for profitability there), the finance expert on Channel 7s Kochies Business Builders, and the writer of Smartcompany’s Profitable Growth column. I can often be found on a stage somewhere speaking about profitability and when I’m not doing all the above I also run Butterfly Coaching which essentially is strategic planning workshops for medium sized businesses. I was previously a partner at Deloitte, was educated at The London School of Economics and I’m Mum to 4 delightful children” Julia Bickerstaff
